Home safe!

We made it back home to Atlanta safely and are happy to see family and friends again. We already miss so many of our new friends that we left behind in Kenya; can’t wait to see them all again on our next trip. I want to say a special thank you to Linda, Craig, Kim, Julie, and Charley for not only preparing Nancy and I so well for our first mission trip, but for executing it so perfectly and making us feel completely safe, comfortable, and spiritually fulfilled. We feel so blessed to have shared this amazing experience with each of you and we know that we have made lifelong friendships. We love you so much! We also give thanks to our Heavenly Father for leading our hearts to Kenya, filling us with the Holy Spirit and giving us the opportunity to serve His kingdom and to share His love with His people. I have never felt so close to Him and witnessed so many examples of His miracles and goodness. For those of you that have experienced a mission trip like this first hand, you already know what I am talking about. For those of you that have not yet taken the leap of faith and joined a mission team, I encourage you to contact one of our team members so that you can witness firsthand the joy and spiritual fulfillment that comes with serving as the hands and feet of Christ.

May God bless you for all of your prayers and words of encouragement. Please continue to keep our brothers and sisters in Kenya in your thoughts and prayers. May we continue to serve them from afar.
