Do you have a heart for saving children’s lives and rescuing them from the darkness of the world?
Would you like to witness first-hand how the light of Jesus can cast out and obliterate darkness?
Have you ever been witness to real-life miracles like you have read in scripture that demonstrate God’s abundant grace and blessings?
Do you want to experience what it is like to have the Holy Spirit work within you and hear His words come out of your own mouth?
Are you seeking proof that the Bible is not a book of the past but a guide to how we should all live today as brothers and sisters in Christ?
Would you like to know with absolute confidence that God has a perfect plan for each and every one of our lives and that He will reveal it to you in his perfect timing?
Is God calling you to be His disciple and act in faith as His hands and feet here on Earth?
I have been witness to all of these things after going on my first mission trip last year. I strongly urge you to bear witness to the same. I promise it will change your life forever. I assure you that the enormous impact on the growth of your own faith will awaken your spirit and bring meaning and fulfillment to your life.
Jesus’s Spirit is alive in you. He wants to speak and act through you but you have to act in faith first and open the door to him. He will show you the way, He will lead you along the path, He will walk with you, and He will equip you with everything you need. Many of you are waiting for the Messiah to return to earth, but you have the power to bring Jesus to earth today. He is alive inside of you.
After my incredible wife made the decision to act on her own faith last year, I came up with a laundry list of reasons why I could not possibly join her on a mission trip.
I am not strong enough in my faith.
I am not strong enough in scripture.
I am not strong enough in prayer.
How can I serve and have a spiritual impact on others?
I cannot afford to go financially.
I cannot go because of physical ailments.
I cannot leave my job for two weeks.
I cannot leave my daughter for two weeks.
I cannot leave my dog for two weeks.
I am eternally grateful to my men’s discipleship group who encouraged me to pray and let God handle each of these reservations. So, I started praying. One by one, I watched as He addressed them and removed all the obstacles that stood in my way. Do not hesitate to call upon God’s promises to you in prayer. Do it without any doubt in your heart. He will fulfill His promises and shower you with His grace.
John 15:7-8 says “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This to my Fathers glory that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”
Matthew 6:33-34 says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
You cannot say to God, “equip me first and then I will act in faith.” That is not how an act of faith works. God only gave me the lessons after I took the first test. He only revealed my path after I had decided to start walking on it. He grew my faith. He built my trust. He gave me confidence in my identity. He came alive in me and I came alive in Him. Praise God for his abundant grace and blessings!

I pray that you live out this day and every day with boldness and confidence in your identity in Christ. You are a son or daughter of God. You have been redeemed through the blood of Jesus. You have been crucified with Him. You are a new creation. You are righteous. You are holy. You are one in spirit with Him. You are a warrior against sin. You are His hands and feet on earth. Now get up, go serve others, love your neighbor as yourself, and become the light of Jesus, shining and casting out darkness everywhere you step foot in this world.
“Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.” – Isaiah 58:10
